1. Acceptance
These terms are a contract between Northsignal ("we", "us") and you, the operator. By signing in to Northsignal or connecting a Meta Business to it, you agree to these terms on your own behalf and on behalf of every user you invite to your workspace. If you do not have authority to bind your organization, do not sign in.
2. License to use the software
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Northsignal during the term of your subscription, solely for your own internal business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or white-label Northsignal without a separate written agreement.
3. Operator obligations re: connected-client data
Because Northsignal is multi-tenant and your clients' Meta Businesses sit behind your connections, you specifically promise that:
- You have the authority from each connected client to access their Meta Business and their Lead Forms data.
- You have informed your client's end users (e.g. the people submitting Lead Forms) in your own privacy notice that a service like Northsignal is processing their data on your behalf.
- You will comply with the Meta Platform Terms and the Meta Developer Data Use Policies, including any restrictions Meta places on data retrieved via
leads_retrieval. - You will not use data retrieved through Northsignal to discriminate, profile sensitive characteristics, or otherwise violate applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You will not:
- Scrape, query, or exfiltrate data outside the scopes Meta has granted to the connection.
- Reverse engineer Northsignal, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, or attempt to obtain another tenant's data.
- Use Northsignal to send unsolicited bulk messages or otherwise misuse leads beyond the page they were submitted to.
- Resell or repackage Northsignal output as your own product without our written consent.
5. Service availability
Northsignal is currently in open beta. We do not commit to a service-level agreement during beta, and we may add, change, or discontinue features. We try to give at least 14 days' notice before removing a feature that operators are actively using.
6. Fees
Northsignal is free during the open beta. When we introduce paid plans we will communicate pricing at least 30 days in advance, and continuing to use Northsignal after that notice means you accept the new pricing. We will not retroactively bill for beta usage.
7. Confidentiality
Each side will protect the other's confidential information with at least the same care it uses for its own (and no less than reasonable care). This obligation lasts for three years after termination. It does not cover information that is public, was already known, was independently developed, or is required to be disclosed by law.
8. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your data, your clients' data, and anything you upload or connect. We keep all rights to Northsignal — the software, the diagnostic rules engine, the prompt library, and the brand. Feedback you send us about Northsignal is non-confidential and we may use it without restriction.
9. Warranty disclaimer
Northsignal is provided "as is". We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent allowed by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that ad-spend analyses or AI-generated answers will be error-free; treat them as decision support, not financial advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Each party's total aggregate liability under these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.
11. Termination
You may terminate at any time by disconnecting all Meta connections and emailing hr.yushishthira@gmail.com to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if Meta requires us to, or if your use puts other tenants at risk. On termination, your account record and all related rows are deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain them.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot first be resolved in good-faith discussion.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify operators via an in-app banner and an email to the address you signed in with, at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Northsignal after that means you accept the updated terms.
