Northsignal stores very little: an encrypted Meta access token, a cached list of your Ad Accounts and Pages, and the Lead-form submissions we fetch on demand. You can wipe all of it using any of the three options below. Choose the one that matches what you want to remove.
Option 1 — Disconnect inside Northsignal (fastest)
Use this if you just want to stop Northsignal from accessing one specific Meta connection.
- Sign in to Northsignal and open Settings → Connections.
- Find the Meta connection you want to remove and click Disconnect.
- Northsignal immediately calls Meta's
DELETE /me/permissionsendpoint to revoke the app from your Meta account, deletes the encrypted access token, and removes the cached Ad Account and Page lists associated with that connection. - You will see a confirmation screen. There is nothing left to do — Meta will not send any more data to Northsignal for that connection.
Lead-form submissions cached in the last 24 hours are purged within seconds. Anything older has already aged out of cache.
Option 2 — Remove Northsignal from Facebook
Use this if you do not have Northsignal access (for example, you are an end user whose data flowed through a Northsignal-using operator) or if you simply want to revoke the app from the Facebook side.
- Go to facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find Northsignal in the list of Active apps.
- Click Remove and confirm.
- Meta will post a signed data-deletion request to Northsignal's webhook. Northsignal deletes the local connection row within seconds and Meta will show you a confirmation code that you can use to verify the deletion request was received.
If you want to verify the deletion code later, email hr.yushishthira@gmail.com with the code and we will confirm the status of the request.
Option 3 — Delete your entire Northsignal account
The two options above remove the connection but leave your Northsignal user record in place so you can sign back in. To wipe everything — the user record, all connections, all audit log entries:
- Email hr.yushishthira@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. Subject line: "Delete my Northsignal account".
- We will confirm the request, then delete your user record and every related row (connections, cached snapshots, audit log, encrypted tokens) within 30 days.
- You will get a final email confirming the deletion is complete.
What gets deleted, by option
- Option 1 (Disconnect): that connection's Meta token, per-Page tokens, cached ad-account list, cached Page list, and any cached lead submissions. Your Northsignal user account stays.
- Option 2 (Remove from Facebook): same as Option 1, triggered from the Facebook side. Your Northsignal user account stays.
- Option 3 (Full account deletion): everything above plus your Northsignal user record, all other connections, and the audit log.
